Life can feel difficult. Often it becomes harder to cope because something has happened or changed. The event or change may be sudden, or drawn out, or have accumulated over time. It may be a change in you, or those around you, or the relationships that are important to you. It may be that circumstances have changed. But whatever the change, it will mean that you have been affected emotionally, and sometimes that affect can be so great that it feels like we are being pushed too far and are struggling to cope – not just with the change – but with life.
This is where counselling can help.
I help people to deal with issues that are connected to change as well as the addictions (substance and behavioural) that some of us develop as we struggle to cope. These issues include stress, anxiety, relationship problems, anger issues, low self-esteem (including body image), eating disorders, OCD, bereavement and trauma.
I work with adult individuals, couples and groups, and have been able to help the people I work with make a very real difference to their lives. I would be delighted to help you do the same.
Please feel free to contact me by phone, email or text if you would like to book an assessment session to discuss your needs, or for further information about how I might be able to help you.
